Graph Energy’s ultracapacitors and energy management storage systems (EMU/Energy Guard) play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of diesel and natural gas generators, especially in industrial and remote areas. By integrating ultracapacitors with generators, Graph Energy can achieve substantial fuel consumption reductions of up to 80%, depending on the power consumption profile. This is achieved by storing energy generated by the generator in the EMU/Energy Guard. Once the EMU/Energy Guard is fully charged, the generator is deactivated, and the EMU/Energy Guard​ distributes the stored energy, effectively meeting the same load demands as the generator. Besides fuel conservation, this approach also provides maintenance advantages by addressing wet stacking issues that often occur when generators operate at lower rates.
